I’m watching SNL tonight (this being Monday) as I’ve suddenly become an old dude with two girls and can no longer stay up much later than 11. And to my surprise, it’s actually quite good.
I love SNL. I grew up obsessing about it. Dana Carvey’s Choppin Broccoli & Toonces were both defining moments of my youth. What can I say, I was weird.
However, the last few years it has sucked. Why? Cast? Writing? I’m not sure.
Now, it’s better. The cast seems more comfortable & confident. I love how they’re giving more time to Samberg & The Lonely Island guys. And yes, Kristen Wiig is an amazing talent.
